Refund policy

This Return Policy applies to 3 Gen Handbags and More and its subsidiaries, 3 Gen Lagniappe and You Personalize This. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms below.

1) Overview

  • All items are non-refundable. Eligible items may be returned for store credit only, issued as an e-gift card.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where we determine an item is defective or damaged on arrival.
  • Store credits are issued minus original and return shipping costs. 

2) Return window

  • You must initiate your return within 7 calendar days of the delivery date shown by the carrier.
  • Once your return is approved, the item must be received by us within 14 days of approval or the return will be rejected. 

3) Eligibility standards

Returned merchandise must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and unaltered.
  • Free of odors, stains, pet hair, makeup, perfume, and damage.
  • In the original packaging with all tags, branded dust bags (if applicable), protective films, accessories, and inserts.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether an item is in sellable condition. 

4) Non-returnable items

The following are final sale, no returns, exchanges, or credits:

  • Items marked “Final Sale,” “Last Chance,” or discounted at checkout.
  • Personalized or custom items from You Personalize This.
  • Digital products and downloads, including e-books, templates, PNG files, and any printable or instant-download content from 3 Gen Lagniappe.
  • Gift cards.
  • Any item not meeting the Eligibility standards in Section 3.

5) How to initiate a return

Use our return initiation link. It opens an email prefilled with the correct subject line.

  • Order number
  • Delivery date
  • Items you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos for any defect or damage claim

We will reply with next steps and, if approved, a return authorization and instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender. 

6) Return shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on eligible returns.
  • Use a trackable service and adequate packaging. Do not affix labels directly to product packaging. Returns damaged in transit or missing pieces may be refused. 

7) Damaged or defective items

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, email 3genhandbagsnmore at gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos, and a description.
  • Upon verification, we will provide a prepaid return label and, at our discretion, issue a replacement or store credit.
  • Claims made after the 7-day window are not eligible. 

8) Processing and store credit

  • After your return is delivered to our facility and passes inspection, please allow 5 to 7 business days for processing.
  • Approved returns receive store credit via e-gift card, less original shipping costs.
  • Store credits do not expire and may be used online only. 

9) Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the eligible item for store credit, then place a new order. 

10) Late or rejected returns

  • Returns initiated after 7 days, received after the return window, or failing inspection will be rejected and returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.

We may update or modify this policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Changes apply to orders placed after the Effective Date shown above.
